They Look Just Like You: Oscar La Ramblas Barcelona Spain. During a short break in Barcelona I came across Oscar. As I looked at him he wandered over, looking at me through one eye, he seemed a little bit worse for wear due to the consumption of a little alcohol. Oscar had a warm smile and was happy to shake hand while we tried to converse using sign language and small amounts of English and Spanish. His scared, weathered face was covered with a slightly greying beard which made it difficult for me to assess his age. To my astonishment my a Norwegian friend Tor Ulstien said ” I think this guy is Swedish” Oscar managed to stand still long enough for me to capture his portrait and after contributing a few Euros for his time, it was time to move on for us all.
